CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support
Certificate IV in Ageing Support, this qualification reflects the role of support workers who complete specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or community based environments. Workers will take responsibility for their own outputs within defined organisation guidelines and maintain quality service delivery through the development, facilitation and review of individualised service planning and delivery. Workers may be required to demonstrate leadership and have limited responsibility for the organisation and the quantity and quality of outputs of others within limited parameters.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements listed in the training package for this qualification. It is preferred that the students have obtained a minimum of a School Certificate or equivalent. Students are required to; be at least 16 years of age (students under 18 years of age will need a parent or guardian to approve their enrolment) and undertake a criminal record check.

The training program is undertaken over 12 months, made up of:
- 40 x 6 hour face to face classroom training sessions, a maximum of 2 sessions per week
- 120 hours of work placement
- Self- study for revision and review of materials
- Assessment completion
